| Introduction
The ALD-232A analysis probe provides a fast, easy and
reliable method for connecting the Agilent
logic analyzers to the RS232/449 or IEEE1284 busses. The
analysis probe includes ribbon Y-cables to tap into the target bus.
Configuration files for both timing and state analysis are provided. In
state mode, a bus cycle interpreter displays the full duplex data in all
modes. For timing analysis, all signals are presented to the logic
analyzer inputs with a minimum buffer delay and low skew.
A microprocessor in the ALD-232A controls the operation of the unit. The
user selects the operating mode via push buttons on the front panel and
sets parameters (i.e. baud rate, stop bits, etc.) via a menu tree with
choices shown on a two line LCD display. |
